patterns and examples

Alongside you will find Symmetrical Tulips, one of Tammy's first Hardanger designs. It is designed as a doily, but for the picture it was glued to a colored mat and framed.

Hardanger is found in many forms: like doily's, ornaments, cushions or table runners.

In Tammy's designs you will find most of these forms. You can always use the designs, but change the form.

Ornaments
Christmas Square and Christmas Star are designs made with Christmas in mind.

They can be hung in the tree or as a window decoration.
They are 6"x6" and 5"x5".

Two in One in Blue is a doily in which the fabric and thread are the same color (ton sur ton).
The example is in blue, but you can always choose your favorite color (fabric and threads are never included in the pattern).
This is one of Tammy's most popular patterns. It is recommended for those with some knowledge of Hardanger.
The example is 10"x10".

Cushions are in different sizes.
To the left you see an example of White Roses. The Hardanger area is 13"x13" while the whole cushion is 16"x16".

Tiny White Pillow to the right is only 5"x5" and is wonderful for decoration and as a gift.

Country Pillow is a Hardanger design embroidered on linen band. The linen band has a wonderful woven edging.

The example is 7"x7" and can always be embroidered on other fabrics.

The Queen Tree Ornament is named thus, because it was hung in the Christmas Tree in Buckingham Palace (see picture).
Tammy's ornament was chosen during a competition to hang with 150 others in the tree. After Christmas they were auctioned for charity and Tammy bought hers back.

It is a beautiful ornament that steals lots of compliments at shows and fairs. We can share the secret, it is now available in pattern form.
